Essentials of a goalkeeper kit
Goalkeepers in the sport of football play a very important role – they defend their team’s goal and have special privileges in the game. Goalkeeper clothing: When it comes to clothing, there are several different types of shirts, shorts and specialized trousers for goalkeeper kits. Also, this shirt has Dri-fit construction, which draws any perspiration away from the skin. Under Armour is another good brand which offers long sleeve grippie shirts suitable as a base layer. These have moisture transport and second skin compression and are made from fabric polyester/elastane. Padded trousers are also important for goalkeepers. Adidas produces Tierro padded trousers, which have padded hips and knees with a drawcord and elasticated waist.
Goalkeeper shin guards and ankle guards: Protection is vital to goalkeepers – they are prone to be hit by balls being shot directly at them at all sorts of speeds, and so, goalkeepers need to have shin and ankle guards.
