Flex Belt Review
The Flex Belt is an FDA approved product that promises to slender & tone your ab muscles with no effort. In this flex belt review we will investigate and discuss the pros and cons of this weight loss product.
How it works
The Flex Belt is unlike most other weight loss products because it uses electronic stimulation to contract your abdominal muscles. By placing three gelpads in specific areas on your stomach, an electronic current is generated and sent to the gelpads which in turn force the muscles in your stomach to contract which gives the muscles its workout.
This technology has in fact been around for many decades and is known by its acronym, EMS, electronic muscle stimulation. It has been used mostly by physical therapists to aid and speed up the healing process for patients who are unable to work their own muscles. It is safe and has been proven effective.
Recommended Usage
The manufacturers recommend using the product for 30 minutes a day for 4-8 weeks by which time you will see results.
Pros:
1. It is Convenient! You can wear this thing while watching TV, or even at work! It certainly is easy to use and doesn’t require hardly any effort.
2. No other dietary supplements or exercise are needed.
3. FDA approved, which gives it high safety marks.
And that’s pretty much it, in my opinion. It’s easy to achieve the results because simply put, your muscles are getting the workout as promised. You can also control the intensity and get a more intense workout as you get stronger. Oh, and it also feels okay, you get a warm odd buzz in your abdominals but thats about it.
Cons:
1. It’s a bit expensive. At $199.99, that’s more expensive than most other weight loss products.
2. It only works out the abs and doesn’t give you any cardiovascular benefits. Normal exercise, like doing situps or crunchs not only works out your stomach muscles, but they also workout your heart and adjoining body muscles, like chest and back, giving you total body fitness. This product will only tone your ab muscles.
3. Eating healthy also has longer term overall health benefits than just losing weight, like reducing your chances of having a heart attack or stroke.
Conclusion
It’s kind of hard to endorse a product that kind of “cheats” its way to a great abs in my opinion. Clearly, a good exercise routine and eating right is a better way to go. Sure it requires a lot more effort, but there are a lot more benefits.
That said, if you are looking for a quick fix solution to great abs and don’t have any time to workout or just hate working out, using this product will give you nice abs and at least the ab muscles are getting a workout which is better than nothing!
