Basketball Season – The Perfect Bag!
Basketball season is just around the corner and millions of kids around the country will try out for travel, school and recreational basketball leagues. My youngest is one of them. What he lacks in height (with short parents he is definitely height challenged), he makes up for with determination, enthusiasm and a relentless energy. He’ll need a new basketball bag for all his gear as last year’s duffel bag shows the wear and tear of being dragged across many gym floors. This year’s choice? The High Sierra Cross Sport Ballbusta 24″ Duffel.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced kid’s duffel bag or adult gym bag for virtually any sport that requires a ball – think soccer bag, basketball duffel, even football bag – this is the perfect duffel. One end has the perfect mesh compartment with a quick-release closure that holds a basketball or soccer ball or similar size ball. The large main compartment has a U-shaped opening for easy access. Plus, for those who perspire, there is a top-loading wet compartment that keeps shoes or laundry (think wet and smelly) separate and rolls up when not in use. And, for the techno generation, the front zippered compartment has a CD/MP3 player pocket with headphone port. The shoulder strap makes it easy to lug around the basketball court and neoprene handles makes it easy on the hands.
Offered in red, blue, black or green this basketball duffel bag is perfectly priced for the active athlete at under $30 at Irv’s Luggage. My basketball guy bought one with his own money. That’s proof enough for me.
