Choosing Your Monogrammed Bathrobe
Before you purchase your monogrammed bathrobe, have you thought about what kind of bathrobe you really need? Many people will choose a bathrobe based on a picture or mannequin with the robe on. However, before you purchase it you should think about what sort of activities you will be doing in it. There are many different styles of robes out there and if you choose one that goes against your regular activities you may not be happy with it in the end.

These are given the name Waffle because of their quilt like, diamond shaped stitching over the entire surface of the robe. These are very warm and cover more of the chest and neck area than a regular bathrobe.
Terry cloth bathrobe arte excellent for when you first get out of bed or after a shower. Many people will mistakenly get a Valour bathrobe but this is no match for terry cloth. Not only can terry cloth robes be much thicker but they are also much more absorbent, making them perfect for pools, spas and showers. These robes are usually much longer and there should be no problem to find an ankle length terry cloth robe in your local mall or favorite clothing store.
A Valour robe is better used in the summer. These still help you retain body heat yet are not as warm as terry cloth or waffle robes. Valour robes are mostly found at mid thigh length. The reason for this design is that less heat will escape the body. These robes are most valuable on a cool summer evening because they keep your torso warm while letting your extremities cool, by the short length cut and the short sleeves.
As you can see there are different robes for different reasons and seasons. A personalized bathrobe makes it even more special, and a monogram is a wonderful little detail that will add beauty and uniqueness to your new bathrobe. Before you decide on the lettering and thread color, figure out which kind of robe would be best for your lifestyle. Consider safety, like not wearing a free flowing robe near the stove while you’re cooking or using an absorbent robe right after the shower or swim in the pool. Take a look at your life and see what robe or robes would be most appropriate for you.
