Orange HD Voice promises crystal clear sound(if you have the right phone)
Orange UK officially launched High Definition Voice , says a new technology that significantly reduced noise floor and increase sound quality. Available only on selected handsets initially the updated versions of the Nokia 5230, Nokia X6 E5 Nokia and Samsung Omnia Pro the carrier is hoping that more manufacturers jump on board with its own compatible equipment.

HD Voice brings a new logo, too, so that the devices supporting the standard can be easily spotted . Unfortunately, not likely to update existing facilities to make them compatible HD Voice, and none of the other networks have announced their plans to support this technology.
That said, if your phone has consistently frustrated by the poor sound quality, and always talk to other Orange subscribers(who do not mind buying a new phone), then this news should be on.

Orange has announced the first major advances in the UK mobile voice calls over 20 years with the launch of telephony Mobile High Definition(HD) voice. Ensuring crystal clear sound for calls, mobile users will see the service, the new reference to the customer, todays testimony Orange traffic continue to focus on innovation.
HD Voice offers proven to improve the sound quality of the traditional mobile voice telephony. Services eliminates the distance between friends, relatives and colleagues to the caller voices sound like they do when communicating face to face. Reducing noise, hisses and crackles of normal cellular HD Voice also excels in noisy environments, so whether youre a football match or concert, the construction or heavy traffic HD Voice gives you louder, clearer, sharper mobile.
